Baseball Recap: Potts Camp Comes Up Short

Potts Camp fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Falkner on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 11-9. The Cardinals just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Potts Camp's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Falkner, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Potts Camp Cardinals duke it out with Byers Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Falkner, they will be playing at home against Hickory Flat at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Falkner is facing Hickory Flat at the right time seeing as Hickory Flat is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
