Basketball Game Preview: Prosser Mustangs vs. Grandview Greyhounds

The Prosser Mustangs are taking a road trip to square off against the Grandview Greyhounds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Prosser sitting on seven straight victories and Grandview on 11.

If Prosser beats Grandview with 80 points on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Prosser walked away with an 80-67 win over Selah on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Grandview blew past Toppenish, posting a 95-37 victory. The Greyhounds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.

Grandview's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.3 points per game. As for Prosser, their victory bumped their record up to 16-4.

Things could have been worse for Prosser, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took an 81-65 loss to Grandview in their previous meeting back in January. Can Prosser avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
