Basketball Recap: Enterprise Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

With a playoff win on the line, Enterprise rose to the challenge on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 61-38 margin over the Draper APA Eagles. The Wolves pushed the score to 51-27 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

It was another big night for Treyson Whitman, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 12 boards. Another player making a difference was Colten Seegmiller, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 13 points and six rebounds.

Enterprise smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. They are 14-7 when they hit their own glass that hard.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Weston Stratton, who posted six points. The dominant performance gave Stratton a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Burris, who earned ten points.

Enterprise's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-12. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.2 points over those games. As for Draper APA, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-9.

Enterprise has already played their next match, a 60-48 victory against North Sevier on the 22nd. Draper APA does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
