Volleyball Game Preview: Scituate Sailors vs. Pembroke Titans

The Scituate Sailors will square off against the Pembroke Titans at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

Scituate came up short against Notre Dame Academy on Friday, falling 3-0. The Sailors have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Scituate was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Pembroke hadn't done well against Quincy recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Titans walked away with a 3-1 win over the Presidents.

Pembroke is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Scituate, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
