Baseball Recap: Atlantic Comes Up Short

Atlantic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 27th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Creston Panthers. The Trojans were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in June of 2024.

Atlantic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Creston, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-7.

Atlantic wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-7 win against Shenandoah on the 5th. As for Creston, they have also already played their next matchup, a 4-3 victory against Glenwood on the 5th.
