Basketball Recap: Mancos Takes a Loss

Mancos lost against Ignacio back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bluejays were outmatched by the Bobcats and fell 76-30. The Bluejays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Bluejays players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was AJ Simmons, who posted nine points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of James Potts, who scored six points and five boards.

Mancos now has a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Mancos will head out to take on Cedaredge at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ignacio, they will take on Sierra Grande in a tournament on Friday.
