Basketball Recap: Troy Dailey Key Part of a Team Effort in Buccaneers Win

Tonkawa won the last time they faced Woodland and things went their way on Friday too. The Tonkawa Buccaneers took down the Woodland Cougars 63-49. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Buccaneers.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tonkawa to victory, but perhaps none more so than Troy Dailey, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 18 points and six rebounds. Those 18 points gave Dailey a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kade Ditmore, who went 5 for 10 en route to 14 points and five boards.

The win got Tonkawa back to even at 8-8. As for Woodland, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Tonkawa will challenge Life Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Life Prep is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.9 points per game this season. As for Woodland, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 57-46 loss against Hominy on the 18th.
