Wyoming put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the Elder Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 49-34. Given the Cowboys' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Panthers are ranked 59th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wyoming pushed their record up to 17-0 with the win, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.9 points. As for Elder, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wyoming will host St. Xavier at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Xavier has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Elder has already played their next match (against La Salle), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
