Basketball Recap: Central Valley's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Central Valley had won four straight games and Wyatt Clark did his part to make it five on Friday. The Warriors claimed a resounding 68-31 win over the Northgate Flames for which the team can thank Clark, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 15 points and five boards. He is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games he's played.

Isaac Huber was another key player, putting up ten points. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 42.9% three-point shooting accuracy.

Central Valley's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Northgate, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Central Valley and Southmoreland will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Northgate will take on Carlynton in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
