Flag Football Game Preview: Manteca Buffaloes vs. East Union Lancers

For the second straight game, Manteca will face off against East Union. The Buffaloes will head out on the road to face off against the Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Manteca 9.2, East Union 8.6) so any points scored will be well earned.

Manteca's offense might be in the hot seat on Tuesday considering what happened against East Union on Thursday. They took a 13-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancers. The Buffaloes' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Even if they lost, Manteca's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Kailee Jackson.

East Union has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.4 points on average over those games. As for Manteca, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.
