Mt. Vernon-Enola and Wonderview are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long. The Warhawks will square off against the Daredevils at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Vernon-Enola is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.

Mt. Vernon-Enola fell victim to Conway Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 21-0 to the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Wonderview came up short against St. Joseph on Tuesday, falling 16-1. The Daredevils haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Wonderview's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Mt. Vernon-Enola, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.

Mt. Vernon-Enola got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Wonderview by a conclusive 15-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warhawks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
