Volleyball Recap: Immaculate Heart Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against NV - Demarest

Immaculate Heart Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the NV - Demarest Norsemen on Monday. The Blue Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Norsemen apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-16.

Adrielle Crump paced Immaculate Heart Academy's offense, picking up four kills. Crump got some help from Kristen Lee and her eight assists.

The win was the third in a row for NV - Demarest, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Immaculate Heart Academy and NV - Demarest will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Blue Eagles are set to challenge their familiar foe DePaul Catholic at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, NV - Demarest will square off against rival Teaneck at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
