Preview: Screven County Gamecocks vs. Jefferson County Warriors
Screven County has been on the road for three straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They and the Jefferson County Warriors will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Screven County is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Jefferson County in Georgia (Screven County is ranked 182nd, while Jefferson County is ranked 499th).
Screven County stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 59-32 win over Jefferson County.
Alailah Scott was her usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with five steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jaliah Roberts, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds.
Screven County is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Jefferson County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-20.
