Softball Recap: Palestine Wildcats vs. Jefferson Bulldogs

Palestine lost against Jefferson back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Palestine Wildcats fell 9-6 to the Jefferson Bulldogs. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly three runs.

Addison Minton made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Vivian Eckerman, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

This is the second loss in a row for Palestine and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Jefferson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Palestine didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-1 defeat against Central Heights on the 21st. As for Jefferson, they will take on Linden-Kildare at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
