Basketball Recap: Bagdad Sultans vs. Hopi Bruins
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Needles, Bagdad was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They skirted past the Hopi Bruins 30-28. While the Sultans didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Bagdad's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Hopi, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
Bagdad wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 58-44 defeat against Seligman on the 7th. As for Hopi, they will challenge St. Michael at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
