Baseball Preview: Menlo School Knights vs. Las Lomas Knights
Menlo School will head out to square off against Las Lomas at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Menlo School is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last nine games.
Menlo School is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Monterey, sneaking past 5-4.

Menlo School got a great performance from Reid Plamondon as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Plamondon has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Menlo School's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Liam Widner, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. The team relied heavily on Jack Foscalina, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base. Charles Lowen also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Las Lomas pushed their record up to 16-11-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for Menlo School, their record now sits at 21-8.
