Football Preview: Lake Ridge Eagles vs. Mansfield Tigers
The Lake Ridge Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Mansfield Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Ridge is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Lake Ridge came up short against North Forney last Friday, falling 49-24. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 407th, while the Falcons are ranked 127th).
Although Lake Ridge took the loss, they still got scores from Noel Butler, Tre Murphy, and Murphy.
