Soccer Game Preview: New Covenant Academy vs. Liberty

New Covenant Academy is on a seven-game streak of home wins, while Liberty is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Warriors will host the Blue Jays at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between New Covenant Academy and Logan-Rogersville, and Logan-Rogersville kept the tradition alive. The Warriors came up short against the Wildcats on Monday, falling 4-0. New Covenant Academy haven't had much luck with Logan-Rogersville recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Meanwhile, Liberty made easy work of Oak Park on Tuesday and carried off a 4-1 win. Liberty haven't had any issues with Oak Park recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The win got Liberty back to even at 8-8. As for New Covenant Academy, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 11-6.
