Parkside came tearing into Monday's contest with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took their game with ease, bagging a 51-15 victory over the Pocomoke Warriors. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-4.

Zion Oge was her usual excellent self, putting up 19 points. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 19 points. Ta'Layah Clark was another key player, posting nine points.

Pocomoke's loss came despite strong showings from Donyae Washington and Danae Dennis. Washington posted six points along with 20 boards and three steals, while Dennis scored a point and 13 rebounds. Washington has been hot for a while, having posted nine or more rebounds the last 39 times she's played.

Parkside's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.0 points over those games. As for Pocomoke, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.

Parkside and Pocomoke's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Parkside will challenge Kent Island at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, a team that's only allowed 24.8 points per game. Parkside's defense has only allowed 29.6 points per game this season, so Pocomoke's offense will have their work cut out for them. Similarly, Pocomoke and Cambridge-South Dorchester (who has only given up 27.78 points per game) will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Parkside is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.2 points per game this season.
