Marshfield came tearing into Saturday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.7 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Fair Grove Eagles an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Marshfield, who have now won seven matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Marshfield pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
