Rancho Bernardo waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the San Pasqual Golden Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Broncos, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

One reason for the win was Rancho Bernardo's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-8, 25-5.

Rancho Bernardo's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for San Pasqual, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Rancho Bernardo will venture away from home to square off against Patrick Henry at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for San Pasqual, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against La Costa Canyon on the 11th.
