Soccer Recap: Dutchtown Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Dutchtown's offense. They fell 2-0 to the Whitewater Wildcats on Tuesday. Dutchtown have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dutchtown's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Whitewater, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Coming up, Dutchtown will head out on the road to square off against Trinity Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dutchtown's defense better be ready for this one: Trinity Christian have averaged an impressive 3.4 goals per game this season. As for Whitewater, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Whitewater challenge Spalding at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. They will be up against Spalding's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.36 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
