Volleyball Recap: Lisa Academy Takes a Loss

Lisa Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Abundant Life Owls. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Owls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 2nd.

Lisa Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Abundant Life, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Lisa Academy will square off against Pulaski Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Abundant Life has already played their next matchup (against Palestine-Wheatley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
