Baseball Recap: Ten Straight Home Victories for Wilson

Wilson had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Adamson Leopards get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Thursday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Leopards recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Juan ?JD? Arranda was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over six innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

In other batting news, Wilson got a big performance out of Jesus Fermines, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Kalen Sir Leaf was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Wilson pushed their record up to 21-6-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Adamson, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-15-1.
