Basketball Recap: Highland Comes Up Short

Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 64-35 loss at the hands of the Ira Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 57-33 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Ira, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-5.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Loraine the next time they take the court. Ira will host Loraine at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while Highland will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
