Basketball Recap: Northeast Metro RVT Comes Up Short

Northeast Metro RVT lost against Whittier RVT on January 6th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Northeast Metro RVT Knights took a 59-40 bruising from the Whittier RVT Wildcats.

Despite the loss, Northeast Metro RVT still got an impressive performance from Jeanahel Exilus, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 boards. The dominant performance also gave Exilus a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Esien Clarke, who went 5 for 10 on his way to 14 points.

Northeast Metro RVT's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Whittier RVT, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.

Northeast Metro RVT will face off against Academy of Notre Dame at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Academy of Notre Dame is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.5 points per game this season. As for Whittier RVT, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Whittier RVT Wildcats take on the KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
