Basketball Game Preview: Grace Christian Academy Cougars vs. North Florida Christian Eagles

Grace Christian Academy hasn't had much luck against North Florida Christian recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The two teams will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Monday, Grace Christian Academy lost to Sherwood Christian Academy at home by a 72-53 margin. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, North Florida Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 60-41 to Bay. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 450th, while the Tornadoes are ranked 167th).

Grace Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for North Florida Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Grace Christian Academy took a serious blow against North Florida Christian in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 78-50. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Grace Christian Academy was down 45-20.
