Basketball Recap: StoneBridge Comes Up Short

StoneBridge lost against Broadwater Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The StoneBridge Cavaliers took a 55-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Broadwater Academy Vikings. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Broadwater Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bennett Custis, who went 7 for 11 on his way to 16 points. Another player making a difference was Noah Pruitt, who went 5 of 7 en route to 13 points and seven boards.

StoneBridge's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Broadwater Academy, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

StoneBridge will face off against Hampton Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Broadwater Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Atlantic Shores Christian at 6:00 p.m.
