Hawley waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the New Life Academy Eagles by a score of 2-0.

Annaka Johnson paced Hawley's offense, picking up 11 kills. Johnson got some help from Sella Fleming and her 22 assists. Josie Schenck controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Hawley's win bumped their record up to 15-1. As for New Life Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-1.

Coming up, Hawley will take on Wadena-Deer Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Life Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Concordia Academy at 6:30 p.m. on the 30th.
