Softball Recap: Flowing Wells Takes a Loss

Flowing Wells lost against Cienega back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Caballeros came up short against the Bobcats, falling 15-2.

Flowing Wells saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Yesenia Solano, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Flowing Wells dropped their record down to 12-13 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Cienega, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Cienega will challenge Catalina Foothills at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Flowing Wells will be paying especially close attention to the Bobcats' matchup: after the Bobcats faces off against the Falcons, they'll take on Flowing Wells again at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
