Houston County came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Coffee Trojans get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. Considering the Bears have won five matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Houston County pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five contests. As for Coffee, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Houston County will welcome Lee County at 5:30 p.m. on March 14th. Coffee will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jeff Davis at 5:00 p.m. on March 21st.
