Mesa is 6-1 against Corona del Sol since December of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The two teams will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. Mesa's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Cienega. That's two games in a row now that Corona del Sol have lost by just one goal.

With that draw, Mesa's record moves to 2-1-3. As for Corona del Sol, they now have a losing record of 3-4-1.

Mesa beat Corona del Sol by a goal in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jackrabbits since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
