Football Game Preview: Sullivan Eagles vs. Festus Tigers

Sullivan hasn't had much luck against Festus recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Eagles will face off against the Tigers at 1:00 p.m. Sullivan is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

Sullivan is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They slipped by Vianney 29-28.

Meanwhile, Festus strolled past North County with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 42-24. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Sullivan's record now sits at 9-3. As for Festus, their record is now 9-2.

Things could have been worse for Sullivan, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 26-12 loss to Festus in their previous meeting back in September of 2021. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
