Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Manchester). They really took it to the Greenville Patriots for the full four quarters, racking up a 55-8 victory. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Blue Devils had established a 46-point advantage.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jamere Smith, who picked up 113 receiving yards, and also rushed for 34 yards.

The win made it two in a row for Manchester and bumps their season record up to 4-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.5 points over those games. As for Greenville, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

Manchester will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Wheeler County at 7:30 p.m. on the 14th. The Blue Devils will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 31 points in their last six contests. Greenville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
