Liberty has gone a perfect 5-0 against Dos Palos recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Liberty Hawks will be playing at home against the Dos Palos Broncos at 4:00 p.m. Liberty is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Liberty duked it out with Firebaugh on Tuesday. Liberty blew past Firebaugh 15-1. The Hawks have beaten the Eagles the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Eagles has come to flipping the script.

The team relied heavily on Xaviar Gordon, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Deegan Shandor, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Liberty always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Dos Palos' offense. They came up short against Reedley on Tuesday, falling 11-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Broncos were not able to get on the board.

Dos Palos' loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Liberty, the win also got them back to even at 3-3.

Liberty was able to grind out a solid victory over Dos Palos when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 8-4. Does Liberty have another victory up their sleeve, or will Dos Palos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
