Belton-Honea Path is a perfect 3-0 against Cambridge Academy since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bears will take on the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Belton-Honea Path will be strutting in after a win while Cambridge Academy will be coming in after a loss.

Belton-Honea Path took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over Westside. That nine-goal margin sets a new team best for Belton-Honea Path this season.

Meanwhile, Cambridge Academy fell victim to Spartanburg Christian Academy and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 3-0. Cambridge Academy have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Cambridge Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Belton-Honea Path, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Belton-Honea Path beat Cambridge Academy by a goal in their previous meeting back in February of 2025, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
