Volleyball Recap: Herculaneum Comes Up Short

Herculaneum lost against Windsor back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Black Cats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Owls. The Black Cats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-8.

Macy Pope paced Herculaneum's offense, picking up six kills. Pope got some help from Abbigale Pruitt and her seven assists.

Herculaneum's loss dropped their record down to 5-12-2. As for Windsor, they pushed their record up to 19-4-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Herculaneum and Windsor will both be playing Lift for Life Academy the next time they take the court. The Black Cats will head out to face the Hawks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Owls will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
