Belmont won the last time they faced Benton and things went their way on Thursday too. The Braves blew past the Zephyrs 67-43. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Braves.

Belmont's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chase Riechers led the charge by almost dropping a double-double with 21 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Temperly, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Belmont's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Benton, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
