Baseball Recap: Amite County Falls Short of Pisgah in the Playoffs

Amite County and Pisgah squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Amite County had to settle for second. They came up short against the Dragons, falling 15-0. The defeat leaves the Trojans still looking for their first win of the season.

Amite County's loss dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Pisgah, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Amite County nor Pisgah have any future games scheduled.
