Volleyball Game Preview: Moriarty Pintos vs. Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes + How To Watch

The Moriarty Pintos will take on the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Moriarty and nine for Pojoaque Valley.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Moriarty and Taos had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Pintos lost 3-0 to the Tigers on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-9, 25-4.

Moriarty's loss came about despite a quality game from Kristina Means, who had ten digs. Means is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Meanwhile, Pojoaque Valley came up short against Taos on Thursday, falling 3-0.

While Pojoaque Valley was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 25-18.

Pojoaque Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Moriarty, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.

Everything went Moriarty's way against Pojoaque Valley when the teams last played on October 9th, as Moriarty made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Pintos repeat their success, or do the Elks/Elkettes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
