Basketball Recap: Donaldsonville Takes a Loss

Donaldsonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the East Iberville Tigers, falling 63-27. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Donaldsonville of the 61-8 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Donaldsonville's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for East Iberville, they have been performing well recently as they've won 16 of their last 20 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tigers face off against the Panthers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Berwick will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Donaldsonville surely won't give up without a fight. East Iberville has already played their next game (against North Iberville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
