Winfield took down Wayne on Wednesday, a win that might not have happened without Blake Withrow's standout effort. Withrow turned in nothing short of a gem, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over six innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
