Fort Stockton had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Pecos on Tuesday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 15-8 victory. Considering the Panthers have won ten matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Fort Stockton now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Pecos, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Stockton will square off against Andrews at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Pecos, they will head out on the road to square off against Greenwood at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The last three games the Rangers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
