Softball Recap: Foothill Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mt. Diablo last Wednesday, Foothill came back down to earth. The Foothill Falcons fell 4-1 to the Alameda Hornets on Thursday. The matchup marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Foothill saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ellie Novitske, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Foothill fell to 3-1-1. As for Alameda, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Foothill wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 15-3 victory against Berkeley on the 7th. As for Alameda, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-1 win against Newark Memorial on the 8th.
