Volleyball Recap: Fairfield Union Takes a Loss

Fairfield Union came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-4, 25-5.

Sienna Hogue had a dynamite game For Bloom-Carroll., getting 13 digs and four aces. Hogue has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Fairfield Union's defeat was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Bloom-Carroll, their record now sits at 18-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Fairfield Union is set to take on their familiar foe Circleville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bloom-Carroll will square off against rival Logan Elm at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
