Football Recap: Dooly County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Dooly County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 20-6 to the Telfair County Trojans. The Bobcats lost against the Trojans in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 40-0 score last time.

Telfair County found their leader in sophomore Dj Jordan, who rushed for 165 yards and a pair of scores. Another player making a difference was Braylin Womack-Crockett, who rushed for 160 yards and one TD on only 13 carries.

Dooly County's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Telfair County, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-7.

Looking ahead, Dooly County will take on Hawkinsville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Telfair County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
