13 must be Beal City's lucky number: they beat Lake City with that score not once but twice on Tuesday. The Aggies didn't even let the Trojans on the board, marking the Aggies' second-straight 13-0 shutout. Considering the Aggies have won 16 matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Beal City is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.6 runs over those games. As for Lake City, they dropped their record down to 4-17 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beal City will challenge Clare at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their 24th straight win, something the Aggies surely won't give up without a fight.
