Soccer Recap: St. Thomas More Comes Up Short

St. Thomas More managed to keep up with Olympia until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Sabers came up short against the Spartans, falling 3-0. St. Thomas More just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

St. Thomas More's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Olympia, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-9-2 record this season.

St. Thomas More and Olympia are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Sabers will take on Unity Christian/Argenta Oreana/Decatur Christian at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Olympia, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bloomington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Olympia are facing Bloomington at the right time seeing as Bloomington are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
