Volleyball Recap: Chapel Hill Victorious

While Chapel Hill's win against Pinecrest wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers skirted past the Patriots 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won five in a row.

Chapel Hill was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-12, 18-25, 15-5.

Chapel Hill can attribute much of their success to Lillian Petley, who had seven digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Petley a new career-high.

Chapel Hill's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Pinecrest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Chapel Hill has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Hoggard on the 13th. As for Pinecrest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Coastal Christian on the 13th.
