Volleyball Game Preview: Fenton Bison vs. Elmwood Park Tigers

The Fenton Bison will square off against the Elmwood Park Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Fenton and five for Elmwood Park.

Last Thursday, Fenton didn't have quite enough to beat Bartlett and fell 2-1. While the Bison didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hawks 25-17 in the first set.

Fenton started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-14, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Elmwood Park came up short against Glenbard East on Tuesday and fell 2-0.

Elmwood Park was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Glenbard East work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 27-25.

Elmwood Park's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Fenton, their loss dropped their record down to 8-19.
